Last night we went to the Modla's for a cookout since we will be gone next week and they will be gone the next. Emma Grace and Maddie are now at the age where they can play alone w/o adult involvement which is nice and allows me to enjoy adult conversation. Sharing is a new term to both girls but both are fast learners. I am plea
sed with how well Emma Grace shares at Maddie's house w/being an only child. She continues to struggle with this concept in her own house. Anyways...while watching them share bubble toys it made me think, we teach children the concept of sharing but how much do we share as adults? I dont remember a single time at work where I have said, "Share!"....."Ok, now it is my turn, you need to share"...."share, share, share". These were a few of the comments made by the girls. It is so much fun to watch them interact! They had so much fun playing outside. They would go down the slides, climb around, whack things with sticks, and dig. Emma Grace was so dirty that there was dirt inside her nose attached to her snot! Yuck. When I wiped her nose in the bath and showed her she just giggled. I have attached some pictures to show how yucky she was. As most of you know I do not like a dirty child. Charlie says it is an indication of how much fun a child has by how dirty they are. I guess she had a good time!
